- Four water storage tanks
- 6,200 water meters (read mid-month)
- 1,200 water valves

Sewer Services
A major expansion of the Demoville Wastewater Treatment Plant was completed in 2022 at a cost of nearly $18 million. The modernized facility now has a design capacity of 4.2 million gallons per day and supports over 5,500 customers.
Our collection system includes:
- 95 miles of sewer mains
- 2,100 manholes
- 20 sewer lift stations
We maintain an aggressive program of sewer line cleaning and video inspections to ensure smooth operation. Ongoing improvements have strengthened our system over the past decade, protecting the health and environment of our growing city.
Rate Adjustments
In order to maintain service quality and address rising operational costs, water and sewer rates increase annually by 2%. This helps ensure the reliability of our infrastructure while minimizing major future rate spikes.
